The secret is out. The nudes are all over the internet. No, this isn’t Kim again. This is about something much more important: shoes. You might be thinking of shoes with a grayish pinkish hue but the one-color-fits-all standard is no more! Christian Louboutin, the luxury shoe brand we all drool over has introduced seven new shades into their collection. From porcelain (which might finally be pale enough to match my coloring) to deep chocolate, there’s something for everyone.
Finally, we can all go nude in public.
We think this is a brilliant move. Not only is the brand celebrating diversity, but going nude is a great way to express yourself (I’m talking about just shoes here, but to each her own). Not having to worry about clashing colors and being too matchy-matchy opens the door to bright colors and fun patterns you may not have been able to pull off otherwise. Having a nude that matches your own gorgeous skin tone will also elongate those legs.
This inclusion of these new shades in the spring collection is a beautiful and bold statement against a shady ideology. The lovely Monsieur Louboutin is the first to steer his luxury brand into this direction. I hope (and expect) the first of many.
