Badass Beauty Review: Bed Head Moisture Maniac

Fire, passion, ambition, love, confidence and respect of self and others. These are traits that make a woman beautiful. But there’s nothing wrong with putting your best face forward. We scour the world far and wide to bring you the products that should be kept in your shower.

The Promise: A moisturizing conditioner that will get rid of the tangles in your hair while reforming your hair’s behavior.

The Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Acetamide MEA, Cetrimonium Bromide, Stearyl Alcohol, Parfum(Fragrance), DMDM Hydantoin, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate, Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylate/Tetracaprate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Silk Amino Acids, D&C Orange 4

The Process: After shampooing, I massaged a small amount of the conditioner into my hair. I was a bit surprised at how little went a long way, especially with hair as thick as mine. They recommend leaving it in for 3-5 minutes if you want extra therapy, which, after my first northeast winter, I desperately needed. I suggest rocking out to your favorite song before rinsing the conditioner out if you want a bit more moisture.

The Pros: Not only did Bed Head deliver with moisture for my hair, I also loved the way this conditioner smelled and it didn’t leave my hair feeling heavy like other products.

The Cons: My only con is that I don’t have the larger bottle!

The Result: After just one use I noticed a difference in my hair’s texture. I wasn’t the only one who noticed: my boyfriend couldn’t keep his hands out of my hair, he wanted to play with it and even asked me what I had done differently. Needless to say, I’m obsessed.
