Badass Beauty Review: Bliss That’s Incredi-‘Peel’! Glycolic Resurfacing Pads.

Fire, passion, ambition, love, confidence and respect of self and others. These are traits that make a woman beautiful. But there’s nothing wrong with putting your best face forward. We scour the world far and wide to bring you the products that should be tucked into your medicine cabinet.

The Promise: The benefits of glycolic acid (diminished fine lines, smoother skin and a healthy glow) without the irritation.

The Ingredients: Glycolic acid, vitamin E, licorice root extract, witch hazel, calendula flower extract and glycerin.

The Process: The thing I love most about these pads is how simple they are to use. Open the packet, pull out the generously-doused pad and swipe it across your face (avoiding the delicate under eye area). I use these 3-4 times a week.

The Pros: This is a very simple and straightforward way to incorporate “peels” into your life. They are less irritating than in-office procedures and less expensive too. As they are individually wrapped, they were easy to pack and carry.

The Cons: As with anything that exfoliates, over use can cause irritation (and even acne) and using them after you have exfoliated with another product is a no-no. You also need to be very careful not to forget your sunscreen (which you shouldn’t anyway).

The Result: I tend to love Bliss products and these pads are at the top of our list. Easy to use and super-effective, I noticed finer lines and brighter skin as well as teeny-tiny pores. I not only have them in supply at all times, but I love to give them as gifts to new mom’s who always find them a great addition to their at-home facial routine.
